Terms of Service for Suzanne Felton’s Coaching Services

1. Agreement Overview

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which a writer (the “Client”) agrees to work with Suzanne Felton (the “Service Provider”) in relation to author or college essay coaching services. By engaging with any of these services, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Services Provided

Author Coaching: Includes one-on-one coaching sessions offering personalized guidance, feedback, and support during the Client’s book-writing process.

 
College Essay Coaching: Includes one-on-one coaching sessions for students applying to college relating to the essay portion(s) of their applications offering writing strategies, feedback, and light editing of written work.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon scheduling of coaching session(s) unless a payment plan has been agreed upon.

4. Scheduling, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Scheduling: Sessions must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance online or by contacting the Service Provider directly.

 
Rescheduling and Cancellations: Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in forfeiture of the session fee.

 

With the purchase of multi-session packages, individual coaching sessions may be rescheduled within 12 hours for no additional fee until the number of purchased sessions have been completed.

No refunds will be issued for missed sessions or cancellations made with less than 12-hours advance notice.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to arrive to sessions on time, actively participate in all sessions, complete any pre-assigned work, and communicate openly with the Service Provider.


For college essay coaching, parents of students are encouraged to support the student’s writing at home and communicate any specific needs or concerns to the Service Provider in order to increase the effectiveness of coaching sessions.

6. Confidentiality

The Service Provider agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information shared by the Client during the course of his or her engagement. In the same way, the Client agrees not to disclose any proprietary materials, methods, or information provided by the Service Provider.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of provided services. Guidance or advice offered by the Service Provider is intended to assist and encourage Clients in achieving their stated goals, but it in no way guarantees any specific outcome for the author’s or student’s success.

8. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Service Provider’s website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under this agreement will be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it will be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
